U.S. makes U-turn, lifts visa ban for Nigerian, other foreign doctors

Nigerian and other foreign physicians can now obtain and renew visas to practice in the United States after the Trump administration reversed a policy that blocked many of them from working. The Department of Homeland Security confirmed that visa and work permit applications for doctors would resume processing.
