Touba: For a Cigarette, Ahmet Ka Ruins His Cousin Seydou Ka's Life, the Horror Film

Ahmet Ka was sentenced to six years in prison by the Diourbel flagrant offences court for attacking his cousin Seydou Ka with a machete. The incident occurred on April 12 in a field area in Touba-Ndindy while the two cousins were herding their livestock. After drinking alcohol, Ahmet Ka asked Seydou for a cigarette; when refused, an argument ensued. Ahmet Ka returned with a machete and struck his cousin six times, hitting arms, chest, and back, before fleeing. The victim was rushed to hospital.
