Iran: Putin reveals the aid that Russia provides in response to the American blockade

Iran is receiving aid from Russia as the American naval blockade disrupts its trade. Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed this assistance during a meeting with Iranian counterpart Massoud Pezeshkian in Bishkek. Iranian oil exports have dropped to between 220,000 and 255,000 barrels per day in August, down from about 2 million in March. The meeting is part of a strengthened strategic partnership between Moscow and Tehran since 2025.
