Iran war day 102: Trump warns Israel against new strikes as ceasefire holds

Iran and Israel have paused tit-for-tat attacks threatening the fragile ceasefire in place since April 8. US President Donald Trump warned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to be 'careful' as continued strikes risk undermining the truce. Iranian parliamentary speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said repeated Israeli violations showed there was no 'genuine will to build trust'. Israel targeted the Mahshahr petrochemical complex, one of Iran's most important industrial centres.

The United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, France, New Zealand, and Norway imposed coordinated sanctions on Tuesday against networks involved in financing, enabling, and carrying out settler violence against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank. The six countries warned they are prepared to take further measures if the Israeli government fails to adequately address the situation. Israel firmly denounced the sanctions, calling them disguised attempts to impose a political stance on settlement.
