Day of the African Child: DRC focuses on access to water, hygiene, and child protection

On the occasion of the Day of the African Child, the Democratic Republic of Congo emphasized access to clean water, hygiene, and child protection. Authorities highlighted the importance of these fundamental rights for the well-being and development of Congolese children. Commitments were made to improve water and sanitation infrastructure in schools and communities, as well as to strengthen protection mechanisms against violence, abuse, and exploitation.
