Judiciary to Roll Out Mobile Truck Courts to Boost Access to Justice in Remote Areas

The Kenyan judiciary will introduce mobile courts in specially equipped trucks to bring judicial services closer to remote communities. This project is part of ongoing reforms aimed at improving access to justice, particularly in arid and semi-arid regions. The trucks will be equipped with courtroom facilities, internet connectivity, and equipment for magistrates and advocates. The initiative is spearheaded by Chief Justice Martha Koome.
