Former Kogi West Senator Dino Melaye stated that President Bola Tinubu is overwhelmed and incapable of leading Nigeria. Speaking in Abuja at a colloquium honoring Raymond Dokpesi, he faulted Tinubu's Democracy Day speech for failing to reflect the hardships facing ordinary Nigerians. Melaye accused Tinubu of failing in security and welfare, citing the abduction and killing of three serving generals in three years. He called on the president to resign honorably.
