Israel issues forced evacuation orders for southern Lebanon

Israel has issued new forced evacuation notices for seven towns in southern Lebanon, ordering residents to leave the area despite a US-brokered ceasefire. The armed group Hezbollah rejected allegations of violating the ceasefire, stating that its attacks are a legitimate response to Israel's persistent violations. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Hezbollah's violations are undermining the ceasefire, which began on April 16 and has been extended to mid-May.
