Morocco: The Economic Lever Worth Billions

Remittances from Moroccans living abroad exceeded 12.4 billion dollars by the end of 2025, according to the Office des changes. In 2024, these transfers had already reached over 11.7 billion dollars, accounting for more than 8% of Morocco's GDP. Over 5 million Moroccans live abroad, primarily in Europe, with France being the main host country.
