DAP-Kenya’s Seth Panyako Quits Opposition Party, Joins Ruto’s UDA

Former DAP-Kenya politician Seth Panyako has announced he is rejoining President William Ruto's UDA and will contest the Malava parliamentary seat in the 2027 General Election on a UDA ticket. He had resigned from UDA in May 2023, criticizing the government for failing to honor its promise to reduce the cost of living and for supporting the Finance Bill 2023 and housing levy. After leaving UDA, he joined Eugene Wamalwa's DAP-Kenya, becoming a vocal critic of the Kenya Kwanza administration.
