Police rescue four-year-old boy, arrest two kidnap suspects in Bauchi

The Bauchi State Police arrested two kidnapping suspects and rescued a four-year-old boy, Musa, after an intelligence-led operation on June 10, 2026. Muhammad Usman, 39, lured the child from his home and took him to the residence of Hayatudeen Ahmad, 40, claiming the boy was his nephew. Usman later demanded a ransom of 5 million naira. The child was reunited with his family, and the suspects remain in custody.
