Kaduna govt trains 1,000 forest guards to tackle banditry

The Kaduna State Government has commenced training 1,000 forest guards to combat banditry and improve security in forested areas. Governor Uba Sani, represented by Chief of Staff Sani Kila, urged the recruits to be disciplined and professional. The guards will be deployed to flashpoint local government areas including Birnin Gwari, Giwa, and Kagarko to support security agencies and encourage farmers to return to their farms.
