The Karen Blixen Museum, located in Nairobi's Karen suburb, will be closed on April 11 and May 1, 2026. However, the museum will remain open to visitors on all other days. At the same time, the National Museums of Kenya announced a review of admission fees, with increased rates for international visitors and revised rates for Kenyan and East African citizens. The museum, built in 1912, is a significant historical site formerly managed by Danish author Karen Blixen.
