Kebbi fixes July 27 for mass wedding of 300 Muslim, Christian couples

The Kebbi State Government, in collaboration with the Nafisa Nasir Charity Development Foundation (NANAS), is organizing a mass wedding for 300 couples on July 27, 2026. The event, dubbed 'Inclusive Mass Wedding', includes both Muslim and Christian couples selected from orphans, widows, and divorcees across 21 local government areas. This is the third edition of the program, following those in 2024 and 2025. All prospective couples undergo mandatory medical screenings, including pregnancy, genotype, and HIV/AIDS tests.
