Kebbi govt sacks VC, dissolves governing council of AFUSTA

The Kebbi State Government has removed the Vice Chancellor of Abdullahi Fodio University of Science and Technology, Prof. Danshehu Bagudu Gwadangaji, along with five other top administrative officers, following an investigation into the institution's affairs. The government also approved the dissolution of the university's Governing Council. Prof. Sama’ila Arzika Mungadi has been appointed as the Sole Administrator of AFUSTA effective April 30, 2026.
