Kebbi: Police dismiss rumours of school closure over insecurity

The Kebbi State Police Command has dismissed rumours claiming that schools in the state have been closed due to insecurity, describing the reports as false. Spokesperson SP Bashir Usman clarified that academic activities are continuing as scheduled, with students safely sitting for the SSCE exams. He stated that security agencies, in collaboration with vigilante groups, are conducting intelligence-led operations to maintain peace, and urged the public to disregard unfounded rumours.
