KEMSA to Close Distribution Centers in Nairobi and Other Regions for Stocktaking in July

The Kenya Medical Supplies Authority (KEMSA) announced a five-day closure of its Nairobi and Regional Distribution Centres from July 6 to 10, 2026, for its annual stock-take. During this period, receipt and dispatch of medical supplies will be suspended except for emergencies. The exercise involves physical counting of items, verified by Logistics Management Information System and Warehouse Management System, and deploys independent stock takers for transparency. Normal operations will resume on July 13.
