KeNHA Meets Kangundo Road Traders Leaders as 30-Day Eviction Notice Nears Expiry

The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has intensified engagements with traders and local leaders along the Kamulu-Joska-Malaa-Tala-Kangundo Road corridor as the 30-day eviction notice for road reserve encroachment nears expiry. KeNHA Lower Eastern Region Director Engineer Wilfred Langat led a consultative forum with the business community, security officials, and other stakeholders to address compliance. KeNHA warned of the dangers of road reserve encroachment and the need to clear the area for planned road development works, including service road improvements, bus bays, and drainage rehabilitation.
