Kenya: US quarantine center project against Ebola maintained

The Kenyan government announced it is maintaining the US quarantine center project for Americans exposed to Ebola, despite public protest and a court order suspending its opening. Health Minister Aden Duale stated the center, planned at Laipikia airbase, is part of 23 quarantine facilities across the country. According to Reuters, about 20 flights carrying US medical equipment and specialized personnel landed in Kenya between May 23 and 31.
