Kenya Railways Releases New Fares for Revamped Gilgil-Nyahururu Safari Train Route

Kenya Railways released new fares for the Gilgil-Nyahururu Safari Train route, covering over 20 stations from Nairobi to Nyahururu. Economy class fares range from Ksh50 for Ol Kalou-Nyahururu to Ksh600 for Nairobi-Nyahururu. First class fares are higher, e.g., Ksh1,300 for Nairobi to Nyahururu. The 78-km Gilgil-Nyahururu metre gauge railway was rehabilitated after being dormant since 1980.
