Kenyans Asked to Report Students Using Drugs in School Vehicles as NTSA Crackdown Intensifies

The NTSA has urged the public to report incidents of students under the influence of drugs or alcohol in school vehicles due to increasing safety risks. According to a NACADA report, 20.2% of primary school pupils have tried at least one substance, while 16.9% were active users. A 2026 study revealed that drug use among secondary school students ranges from 20% to 40%. Kenyans can report these cases through NTSA's Customer Care Helpline.
