Kenya's Sabastian Sawe becomes first person to run marathon under two hours

Sabastian Sawe crossed the finish line of the London Marathon in 1hr 59min 30sec, becoming the first runner to complete a marathon in under two hours. He outpaced Ethiopia's Yomif Kejelcha, who also finished under two hours with a time of 1hr 59min 41sec. Both athletes surpassed the previous men's world record of 2hr 00min 35sec set by Kelvin Kiptum in 2023.
