Air France has announced a 50 euro increase in its fuel surcharge for long-haul flights in economy and premium classes, bringing the total to 100 euros since the beginning of the year. This increase is attributed to the rise in kerosene prices, which have jumped from 750 dollars per ton to 1,900 dollars due to geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. Short and medium-haul flights are also facing a 10 euro surcharge. The CEO of Corsair has predicted that further fare increases may occur if the situation continues.
