2027: NDPF gives Tinubu tough conditions

Two days after accusing successive federal administrations of deliberately abandoning the Niger Delta, the Niger Delta Patriotic Front (NDPF) has set tough conditions for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 elections. The NDPF demanded the fast-tracking of several critical road constructions, including the East-West Road and the Lagos-Benin-Asaba Highway, while criticizing Minister of Works Dave Umahi for his bias against the Niger Delta. The group also called for the immediate repair of the Port-Harcourt and Warri refineries.
