KMRC seeks to raise Sh3bn in green bond issue

The Kenya Mortgage Refinance Company (KMRC) is set to launch a sustainability bond on April 28, aiming to raise Sh3 billion. This issuance will mark the second green bond issuance, four months after Safaricom raised Sh40 billion. The proceeds will be allocated to refinancing eligible green and social home loans, with the offer period running from April 28 to May 12.
