KNH Admits Digital System Delays Left Patients Stranded, Denies Collapse of System

Kenyatta National Hospital confirmed delays in its new digital system for capturing patient data, leaving many patients stranded. While minor issues were experienced, the hospital denied that the system had completely collapsed, stating that patient safety was never compromised. The transition to a fully digitized system, known as Afya Apex, began on April 15 and is expected to be completed within 90 days.
