KRA Announces 4-Hour iTax Downtime on May 10 for Maintenance

The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) announced a temporary downtime of its iTax system on May 10, 2026, from 6 am to 10 am for maintenance. This operation aims to improve service quality ahead of the income tax filing period starting June 30. During this time, all iTax users will be unable to access the platform. KRA also clarified that it only monitors commercial transactions and not personal transfers between individuals.
