The MV Hondius cruise ship, affected by a hantavirus outbreak, is heading to the Canary Islands to drop off 140 passengers and crew for evacuation after weeks at sea. At least eight people have fallen ill, and three deaths have been reported since the outbreak began. Passengers will be taken to a completely isolated area, while WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus will be on-site to help coordinate the evacuation.
