BVMAC: Bamboo plans to open an agency in Douala by June 2027 and seeks 5 billion FCFA

Gabonese microfinance Bamboo EMF plans to open an agency in Douala by June 2027 and is seeking 5 billion FCFA in the Cemac financial market to develop its credit portfolio. CEO Yvan N’na Mboma announced this project during a presentation to Cameroonian investors on September 9, 2026. The associated bond issue, 'EMF Bamboo 7.25% Gross 2026-2029', has been authorized, and subscriptions are open until October 12, 2026.
