Lebanon: eight dead and eight wounded in Israeli strikes

Israeli strikes killed eight people and wounded eight others on Thursday in eastern and southern Lebanon, according to the Health Ministry. Five were killed in the east and three near Tyre in the south. Among the wounded are three children and three women. The strikes came a day after a new ceasefire with Israel was announced in Washington.
