Benin: the INF sued for disseminating information about a conviction

The National Institute of Women (INF) is being sued by Marcel Winato Benjamin for sharing information about his judicial conviction on social media. Benjamin is currently serving a prison sentence, but his case is under appeal. The Cotonou court examined the admissibility of the complaint and postponed the case to July 1, after the public prosecutor requested a deposit of three million CFA francs.
