ECOWAS Bank approves over $267m for projects in Nigeria, Ghana, others

The ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development (EBID) has approved $266.7 million and XOF 30 billion to support infrastructure projects in Nigeria, The Gambia, Ghana, Senegal, and Côte d'Ivoire. Notable approvals include $100 million for the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway and $91.63 million for transport infrastructure in Bauchi State. A waste management project in Lagos is expected to create over 5,000 jobs and increase the recycling rate to 45%.
