US House of Representatives passes war powers resolution in rebuke to Trump

The US House of Representatives passed a resolution to rein in President Trump's powers to attack Iran without congressional authorization. Four Republicans joined Democrats in a 215-208 vote. The resolution is a rebuke to Trump's decision to join Israel in attacking Iran on February 28 without seeking congressional approval. While unlikely to become law, it marks the first successful war powers resolution in the House this year.
