Court denies bail to man accused of planning attacks on Abuja schools

The Federal High Court in Abuja has denied bail to John Jude Agbo, arrested by the Department of State Services (DSS) for allegedly planning multiple attacks on schools in the Federal Capital Territory. Justice Joyce Abdulmalik denied bail after the prosecution presented a fourth witness and closed its case. Agbo faces terrorism and cybercrime charges for allegedly planning to harm schools, students, and teachers. The court ordered his remand in Nigerian Correctional Service custody and adjourned the case to September 24 for the defendant to open his defense.
