Divided opposition will favour Tinubu in 2027 — Yakasai

Salisu Tanko Yakasai, a former Kano governorship candidate for the Peoples Redemption Party, cautioned that the emerging division within Nigeria's opposition could benefit President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 elections. He noted that the formation of two opposition blocs, the ADC and NDC, may split votes and ultimately favor the ruling party. Yakasai reaffirmed his loyalty to the ADC while urging both camps to reduce tensions.
