Rising diesel prices cripple fishing sector, 80% of vessels grounded

More than 80% of vessels belonging to the Nigerian Trawlers Owners Association (NITOA) are currently grounded due to rising diesel prices. This situation has led to a fish shortage at the Ijora market, resulting in increased prices.
