Mother of Henry Nowak's killer jailed for removing weapon

Kiran Kaur, 53, was jailed for three years for removing the 21cm knife used by her son Vickrum Digwa to murder Henry Nowak, an 18-year-old student, on 3 December 2025 in Southampton. Digwa was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum of 21 years. The judge stated that a responsible parent would have challenged their son to do the right thing. Police found the weapon at the family home among more than 20 other weapons a week after the attack.
