Mounir Satouri, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Human Rights, expressed regret over this request to postpone, labeling it a refusal. This obstruction prevents the European Parliament from following up on its recent resolutions regarding Tanzania and conducting parliamentary scrutiny of EU-funded human rights projects.
