Ekiti police arrest suspected political thugs, recover guns

The Ekiti police arrested 11 suspected political thugs allegedly hired to disrupt the All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives primary. Police Commissioner Falade Micheal announced that operations were conducted following credible intelligence about armed individuals at Onikoyi Hotel in Ikun-Ekiti. Seven suspects were arrested on-site, and four others were intercepted in an unregistered vehicle, with weapons and other items recovered.
