Police to deploy extra security at all JAMB exam centres nationwide

The Nigeria Police Force has announced the deployment of extra security at all JAMB examination centres nationwide, both overtly and covertly, to prevent any incidents following unfounded rumors regarding the safety of certain centres in a North Central region. Force Public Relations Officer, DCP Anthony Placid, stated that these measures include routine patrols, perimeter checks, and rapid response teams. The police are also collaborating with other security agencies to effectively monitor and address potential threats.
