Police present N53.3m to families of fallen officers in Lagos

The Lagos State Police Command held a security stakeholders' meeting to mark the 2026 National Police Day, where a total of N53,387,209.48 was presented to families of officers who died in the line of duty. Commissioner of Police, Fatai Olaiwola Tijani, emphasized the need for collaboration between the police and the community to address security challenges. Beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the financial support, which will help ease the burden on the families left behind.
