The street is her runway: No agency, no rules—just her and the open road

Abigael Wakasa Njasi, a 26-year-old Kenyan model, found her freedom in fashion by breaking away from traditional norms. Her journey began in 2019 at the University of Nairobi with the Miss UoN competition, where she won best creative costume. After several setbacks in the modeling world, including inappropriate proposals, she chose to create her own rules and make the street her runway.
