Labour party sets up screening committee for 2027 primaries

The Labour Party has established a National Screening Committee to oversee the screening of aspirants ahead of the 2027 primaries. Chaired by Senator Nenadi Esther Usman, the committee includes several members and is tasked with verifying the authenticity of aspirants' documents. The submission of nomination forms will begin on May 18, 2026.
