Rivers ADC downplays political influence of Wike's 'Rainbow Coalition' movement

The Rivers State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has downplayed the influence of the 'Rainbow Coalition' movement associated with FCT Minister Nyesom Wike. ADC state chairman Dr. Chukwudi Dimkpa stated that the party remains focused on building strong grassroots structures and presenting credible candidates. He emphasized that power belongs to the people and that ADC is a people-oriented party with a strong national presence. Dimkpa also noted that Rivers voters are sophisticated enough to support a candidate based on merit rather than ethnic sentiments.
