Ladoja confirms absence of 3 high chiefs ahead of coronation

The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, confirmed that three High Chiefs, including Chief Sharafadeen Alli, will not attend the coronation ceremony scheduled for Friday, April 3, 2026. The concerned chiefs have informed the Olubadan of their unavailability and requested a postponement. The Palace also addressed rumors of a rift between the Olubadan and Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde.
