French cement giant Lafarge guilty of financing ISIL in Syria

Cement company Lafarge and eight of its former employees were found guilty of financing ISIL by a French court. Former CEO Bruno Lafont was sentenced to six years in prison. Prosecutors stated that they paid millions to armed groups to keep a plant in Syria operational.
