Africa must spend wisely, not just raise revenue — Oyedele

Minister of State for Finance, Taiwo Oyedele, urged African countries to prioritize prudent spending alongside revenue generation for sustainable development. At the close of the African Union's Specialized Technical Committee meeting on Finance, he emphasized that fiscal strength involves effective resource management. Oyedele also highlighted illicit financial flows as a major threat to Africa's economic progress.
