Africa must spend wisely - Taiwo Oyedele

Minister of State for Finance, Taiwo Oyedele, advised African countries to optimize revenue and spend wisely at the close of the African Union’s Specialised Technical Committee on Finance and Tax and Illicit Financial Flows in Abuja. He emphasized the need to strengthen transparency systems and cross-border cooperation to combat illicit financial flows, which hinder the continent's development. Oyedele also stressed that Africa must not be passive on the global stage and should assert its taxing rights in the digital economy.
