Lagos warns school food vendors, holds principals responsible for violations

The Lagos State Government warned food vendors operating in public schools to strictly adhere to health and safety regulations. During a meeting with principals, the new Supervising Tutor-General, Dr. Idowu Olufunke Oyetola, stated that principals would be held accountable for any violations. She also emphasized the importance of maintaining academic excellence ahead of the WASSCE exams and directed proper preparations for the BECE.

Since May 4, MONUSCO has intensified its presence and rapid response capacity in the territories of Djugu and Irumu in Ituri province.
