Lagos govt sack 15 money lenders over operational infractions

The Lagos State Government has withdrawn the operational licenses of at least 15 money lending firms for violating approved guidelines. Commissioner for Home Affairs, Ibrahim Layode, announced this during a ministerial press briefing. Meanwhile, the government received 112 new applications from money lenders and renewed 214 licenses for existing operators. An automated pilgrimage registration system initiative was also announced.
